HONORING THE PAST & PREPARING FOR THE FUTURE

The Sargonites, Guerilla Republik, The Knomadz and of course the incredible spoken word emcee Ne Ne Ali, joined forces once again in Delaware on May 15th 2010. It was a delightful event being with the elders of the community, paying their respects with a very insightful past of commemorable african american leaders from Delaware. Alyson Lang (formerly an Apollo theater dancer) from "Each One Teach One" gave a dynamic presentation on AIDS/HIV awareness, having most of us walk out of there with something new to learn from. Education, food, great fellowship, some line dancing and outstanding performances made it all worth wild to travel to an empowering event and into a historical state such as Delaware.

The Afrikan Connection Presents..

Fannie Lou Hamer said, “Never forget where you came from, and always remember the bridge that brought you over.” In that spirit The Afrikan Connection has linked with local grassroots organizations like Common Cents Consulting, Each One Teach One and Guerrilla Republik. Local entrepreneur and community organizer Sista Nzinga said, "The idea is to show the youth that we give thanks for those who have come before us to set the right example, but we want to prepare them for the reality of their future."

The Afrikan Connection knows the community has to have wisdom, knowledge and unity to prepare for the future. Their contribution continues on May 15, 2010 at the Rose Hill Community Center, 19 Lambson Lane, New Castle, Delaware, 19720. The event will give honor to those in the past who have paved the way, sharing a Delaware First Black's Power Point


Preparing for our Future we have our main feature spoken word and hip hop performances by "Nene Ali (Apollo Legend)," A presentation by Alyson Lang of "Each One Teach One" , Also coming to the mic is Iz the Truth, Abundance Child, The Knomadz, and the Sargonites. Their will be Line dancing, vendors and food.

A PERFECT- PROBLEM, REACTION, SOLUTION!

Ok, so here's how it all works... It's really a mix of human psycology with a dazzle of "target" marketing, at it's finest:

PROBLEM: There is a Car bomb in NYC last week in Times Square.

REACTION: A very small amount of the population were afraid for there lives and due to the media, (along with government hype) gave off the impression that many were frightened. So the people (slaves) out of fear suggested for something to be done!

SOLUTION: It's no surprise that our government always provides a solution!
New York City Mayor Bloomberg traveled to London (to The Old World Order) looking into their security systems to implement the same type of CCTV street monitering for N.Y.C (The New world Order).

A-N-D there you have it folks, classic... Problem, Reaction, Solution!....What?? were you really expecting something a bit more complex? Come on! manipulation is so easy, a child knows how to do it effortlessly.

Did you know? that there is a CCTV (Closed Caption TeleVision) camera for every 14 citizens in London. That's 4.2 million cameras, mostly equipped with microphones all over the U.K. according to David Davis, the former shadow home secretary's resignation statement delivered on June 12th 2008, outside the House of Commons in the U.K. In which, he railed against the erosions of civil liberties.

Terrorist bombings in London have not stopped yet, even after installing more cameras in the recent years. In reality, this system has nothing to do with protecting the people from terrorism, it just becomes another sophisticated form of tracking every move someone makes. The all seeing eye of providence is indeed taking away our privacy in the name of "FREEDOM". And FEAR is how this and other governments maintains hold of population control.

Picture it as if your standing on one big chess game, and both players are on the same side, yet, playing each other. You now become the pawn being manipulated based upon the moves the other pawns make.
From your position, all you see, are the ones who are making the decisions initiating play, which are the Kings and Queens.
However, you never see the true master minds who built and still control the whole game.
