SEE WHO GOT RICH OFF HURRICANE IRENE!

PLEASE BE ADVISED:
The following article is purely based on facts, opinon, perspective, some sarcasim and outlooks for the NYC tri state area. Also noted, that hurricanes are very dangerous as it does take lives and cause destruction to public properties and homes. We are in no way stating that natural disasters are not something to be tooken serious, but what we are saying is that many higher ups do take advantage of situations, regardless of how many lives are at stake. Just as much not preparing for a situation is dangerous, so is over preparing!

As we all know by now, when someone is losing lots of money, someone else benefits a whole lot more!

Yep! you guessed it! It's the usual corporations and Wall Street that keep piling in the dough.

But we all have to thank the media, for the superb feramongering marketing tactics, that work every single time on america's sheeple. You can't deny headlines such as " The northeast is going to feel the fury of hurricane Irene" and also " Irene could devistate NY" and of course "Prepare for the worst!" But my personal favorite is when you have these idot reporters on camera with no hats, getting drenched and reporting the news.

Let's take a look at the financial market on the close since Friday August 26th 2011,  let's also take at peak of some of our favorite department stores portfolios of the day.

Now that we know who wins and becomes rich off disasters, lets now take a look at more of the serious aftermaths of hurricane Irene throughout the tri-state area. The one's who reap the losses, us!
A man walking in Hoboken N.J. Saturday morning. For all of you who aren't too informed. Hoboken was built on swamps and marsh, it's literally at sea level. Floods are pretty common in that area just on regular heavy rains alone. Flood insurance is also up there for hoboken, ask any property owner.

Here's a fallen tree in Brooklyn. Due to strong winds and heavy rain fall.

Plenty of floodings were reported more than anything else in the city.

Deaths were also accounted for, one in New Jersey and two in upstate New York. Here's the following reports,

NEW JERSEY
— Celena Sylvestri, 20, of Quinton, called her boyfriend and then 911 early Sunday seeking help getting out of her flooded car in Pilesgrove, police said. Her body was found eight hours later in the vehicle, which was about 150 feet off the road, police said.

NEW YORK
— A man in his 50s was electrocuted in Spring Valley when he tried to help a child who had gone into a flooded street with downed wires. The child was in very serious condition at Westchester Medical Center's burn unit, said a spokesman for the Rockland County Emergency Operations Center.

— State police said they recovered the body of a woman who apparently drowned after she fell into Onesquethaw Creek in New Scotland ,near Albany.

People losing their lives is always a tragic thing for a family. And despite the loss of lives,  Im pretty certain people thought it was going to be alot worst than anticipated. Others say it wasn't so bad because we were prepared for it.

Really?? I don't know, but the last time I checked, water was every where regardless of what we did. We experienced a weakened category 1 hurricane that eventually died down to a tropical storm. Look at North Carolina, Virginia, southern parts of Delaware and South Carolina to see what a full blast category 2 hurricance can do.

With that all said and done:
To the people who experienced the loss of a loved one in this short peroid of time and homes being devistated, our condolences.

To those who fed into the hype and cleaned up all of the supermarkets, all super stores, those who will now have to give exrta batteries and flashlights as gifts to their family and friends at christmas, please Wake Up!

And Finally, to those who continue to become richer off disasters at the expense of other lives, and whom do not contribute not a single lick of attention to some of those in need....

FUCK YOU, and have a good night.
