New York City is full of all kinds of stickers posted literally everywhere. Stickers, as we all know, are used for a means of promoting businesses, websites, people, clothing, ideas and stickers that simply exist for their own individual sake. Due to the plentiful amounts of sticker placements throughout the city, they can be easily overlooked and subconsciously blend into our bustling city.
Time is dedicated into designing each and every sticker ever posted. People pay to have them printed, for some to take great care, planning and hard work (believe it or not!) to designate areas to serve it's purpose. As humans, we tend to speak 90% of the time without a single word ever spoken, due to body language. A sticker ironically enough, relays the exact same concept to deliver a message or an idea, but with just an image.
The inner city "wallpaper" landscape is constantly changing as stickers get posted up, to eventually get tooken or torn down. And in most cases, due to such a short life span, some even go unnoticed. Just recently a blog was created called www.stickersofnyc.com to document that change in appreciation for what is known as "Sticker Bombing". The Sargonites were featured on this blog, whom are very honored and would like to thank stickers of NYC for putting them up!
