October 1st 2011 - New York City.
Plenty of indignant americans from all walks of life, continued to voice their concerns with an organized march that was routed from Wall street to Brooklyn.
But something did not go according to the plan.
What was to be a peacefull march, eventually turned out to get 700 people arrested and slapped with a summons for obstruction of traffic. Morbius, Iz the Truth, Dayv Cino and Marcel Cartrier amongst the many attending that day, could vouch for a slightly different story of how things went down.
The video below provides ideal images in question, of how NYPD led so many people to get arrested by purposely allowing them to walk on the street side of the brooklyn bridge, and on the pedestrian walkway. In fact, Morbius's arresting officer told him that, not only did he agree for why many came out to protest, but also admitted that NYPD was partly to blame for the massive round up.
Here's the play by play:
0:20 - People slowly making way onto the pedestrian walkway
0:32 - Clearly shows police officers doing their job, detouring people to the walkway
0:43 - Shows how NYPD lead the people onto the street.
NOTICE: The captain with the bullhorn walking backwards, not saying anything.
1:19 - The captain holds the bullhorn walking backwards, still not saying a word.
2:12 - One of the Chiefs with the white shirt waves over the nine cluless police officers with strap cuffs to eventually get into position.
NOTICE: The captain with the bullhorn is still quiet!
3:06 - The foot turtles from the rear eventually made it to the front with the strap cuffs ready
3:31 - The officers get ready into blockade formation
4:19 - The captain with the bullhorn, finally speaks! Saying that people are not suppose to be on the street, so either walk back or get arrested.
4:56 - Marcel Cartier gets arrested with 3 cops on him
5:05 - Iz the Truth gets arrested with 5 cops on him
5:20 - Police cars were blocking the protesters from the rear, closing them in
5:26 - Salute! to my brother Marcel Cartier as he gets escorted
and
5:41 - Salute! to my brother Iz the Truth from Guerrilla Republik, as he gets escorted.
The video below was chosen due to the perfect angles and clarity of what seems to be blantly obvious of how it all went down.
Morbius got arrested around 5:30pm and was hancuffed for five and a half hours along with others, being driven around the city in a MTA bus, due to fully occupied precints and paddy wagons. After finally in a vacant precint he remained locked up for 12 hours without food nor water. He was then later released at 4am Sunday morning to be welcomed by a strong cheer, food, water and clean clothes from other supporters, who stood by to care for their fellow activists. Morbius also has personal footage, that will soon to be aired publicly.

Please keep in mind that, events like this only strenghtens us as a collective whole and teaches us to become aware of strategic loop holes to our rights. These events should not trigger negative emotional reactions, as it should only empower our beliefs for a just and balanced system. Events as this, should inspire us for continous governmental education, to pass it along for others who are also in persuit for a righteous democracy. "We the people", are three powerful words that fortifies the concrete structure of who really is in control to our way of life in this country. And we should never be afraid to voice and express what strikes danger to our soverignty. It's not the mere sight of a weapon that we should fear the most, but rather the lack of judicial, legislative and amendment awareness that we are constantly being stripped away of, on a daily basis. Don't you notice how refreshing it is, when mutual mind sets convey and build on relative issues, uplifting every core of that experience. It's that very sense of unity we all need to come in accordance with, if we truly ever desire to see change in our lives. Let's all stay up, maintain and continue to be in pursuit of our own happiness. Peace.
